Cancellation Policy: A credit card is required in order to book any service. There is a strictly enforced 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or move and re-book your appointment within the 24-hour period, you will be charged 100% of the service you were booked for. Short notice with cancellations or schedule changes results in lost wages that are impossible to recoup. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to this policy.
Late Policy: If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment resulting in an inability to complete your service without inconveniencing other clients on the schedule, you will need to reschedule your appointment. A missed appointment charge of 100% of the cost of your original appointment will apply. We will try our absolute best to accommodate you, but in the event that it is impossible, we must recoup the lost wages from the original appointment. Appointments that must be abbreviated due to tardiness will also be charged at 100% of the cost of the original appointment.
Satisfaction Guarantee: Bangz Hair Studio professionals will do their utmost to deliver the results you are looking for. If at any time you are unsatisfied with the results of your service, please reach out within 7 days of your appointment. We are happy to provide complimentary adjustments according to your wishes. Our goal is always to leave you happy and satisfied with your hair. Communication is key here... but please don't wait past 7 days to get in touch!

Talk about which hairstyle you wish to wear
Our hairstylists can help you determine if this is a possibility based on many variables, including the shape of your face, your lifestyle, and the upkeep budget of a particular hairstyle.
Discuss how to maintain the hairstyle yourself
Some hairstyles are time consuming to recreate. If time is a factor, then a more relaxed style should be explored.
Discuss your hair's history (dyed, relaxed, highlighted, and other chemically treated hair)
Treated hair requires special attention. Chemicals affect the natural shine and elasticity of hair. Repeated treatments often lead to excessive dryness and texture issues. Split ends, curling, or frizziness may need to be addressed.
Don't skimp on proper hair care or hair styling products
Intensively treated hair often requires specialized styling products to add volume, hold curls/waves, eliminate frizziness, maintain softness, and prevent color from fading.
Discuss whether special tools are required to recreate the hairstyle
Ask our stylist to show you the tools used if you wish to recreate a look yourself: different sized curling irons, different sized round brushes, and flat irons. Nothing is more disappointing than not being able to reproduce the same style at home as at the salon.
Inquire about how much hairstyling product to use
Adding too much gel, mousse, or hairspray will develop product build-up up in your hair and can make the hairstyle fall flat.
Bring a photo of your desired style
Beware that a celebrity hairstyle takes hours and is rarely ever reproduced by the star themselves. He/she likely has several stylists working on one hairstyle. Use this photo as a springboard for discussion.
Our stylist can modify or adjust a hairstyle to highlight your personal features, rather than those of the person in the photo.
Discuss methods of cutting
Our seasoned stylists are highly trained in the various methods of cutting. Razors versus scissors deliver very different results. Blunt cuts versus layered cuts serve different purposes. Each hairstyle desired requires a particular cut.
