Hair is Sophie Navarro-Chapuis’s passion and she loves to make people feel good about themselves because when they look good, they feel good.

She is the new owner of Bangz Hair Studio at 585 U.S. 41 Bypass next to Richard Emporium in Bird Bay Plaza. When a client leaves her hair salon, she believes they feel good because they look beautiful.

Today, clients have the choice to opt for a product that is not harmful to health or the environment and Chapuis is very enthusiastic to offer people in Venice an eco-friendly hairstyle. She said in her business, there are three most crucial points: finalizing, texturing and styling.

Every client is a new challenge and a new creation, she said. She starts with a deep analysis of the client’s need. Chapuis’s special technique is a French visages, allowing the hairstylist to ensure the haircut is adapted to facial shape, texture and hair nature.

From Nîmes in the South of France, her career began as a marketing and logistic coordinator of a major French chain. They supplied different brands of professional and retail products to 2,000 hair salons un France, Dubai and New Zealand.

Then she trained to be a hair stylist at a private school in Nimes with Lorenz Ricci, the internationally recognized hairstylist from Brazil who worked around the world. Studying part week and interning with a mentor other days, she was able to use her skills in all aspects of styling, washing and working in salons.

She reached a “highly qualified status” after four yeas with expertise in colouring, highlighting and hair sculpturing. Deciding to come to the U.S., she found Venice and Bangz, which was already offering organic services. There are five hairstylists with different skills for everyone, and one offers special Quidad for curly hair and the presage hair cut for volume curls.
